About Matt
I was fortunate enough to be born into a family that was very much involved in the world of Harley-Davidson. My dad (Jerry Laidlaw) had me riding all sorts of motorized vehicles shortly after the time I could walk. My early riding was primarily on dirt bikes out in the deserts of southern California. I rode my first Harley-Davidson when I was a junior in High school. Since then my riding opportunities came mostly out of necessity involving my job here at the dealership. I recently purchased my first Harley, a 2009 FLHP, which is the police Roadking. I now ride every day of my life.
My experience with Harley-Davidson has come very naturally over the course of my whole life. I have worked at Laidlaw’s on-and-off for the last 15 years. I started with the basics of sweeping the floors and doing the yard work. Since then I have worked in shipping and receiving, rentals, insurance, and I now work in motorcycle sales. -Matt
